Well, my family and I moved from Florida to Australia. Our hearts go out to all those in Florida and elsewhere who have been ravaged by the hurricanes. Our thoughts are with you.

Yes, it was a big move for us and we are finally here and getting settled in. Our three oldest children were born in Australia, but this was the first time for our youngest son, Luke, to be in Australia.

I'll be adding some recipes for great Australian food. If you're an Aussie and would like to share your favorite Australian food recipes, please send them in now!

Well, my daughter turned 4 yesterday and she had a great birthday. Her favorite part was the ladybug birthday cake we made to her specifications (raisins and colored sprinkles exactly where she wanted them).

Well, yesterday was my son, Luke's, first birthday. We made him some yummy treats and a chocolate dinosaur cake with bright green icing and colored candy spots. I admit it wasn't the most beautiful cake I've ever made, but my children told me it was the most fun they've ever had in the kitchen.
