No Bake Chocolate Berry Squares
by: Clarissa the mom chef

Hi Rani,

Here's a quick and easy no bake dessert using frozen blueberries and strawberries (and chocolate!). You can make this with only blueberries or only strawberries (you don't have to use both).

Chocolate Berry Squares

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1 8-ounce container of whipped cream
1 1/2 cups frozen blueberries
1 1/2 cups frozen strawberries
1 chocolate bar (dark or milk)

Take chocolate cookies and smash in a plastic bag to make crumbs. In a bowl, add cookie crumbs, sugar, and melted butter, then mix well. Spread evenly into the bottom of a 9" square baking pan (use your fingers to push down so it's a solid bottom "crust").

In another bowl, beat cream cheese and the 1/2 cup of sugar until it's smooth. Add the lemon juice. Fold in the whipped cream until it's blended, then fold in the frozen blueberries and strawberries. Next spoon over the cookie bottom and spread around pan. Take chocolate bar and grate over the top. Cover with some plastic wrap and put it in the fridge for about 2-3 hours. Then remove and slice into squares.

Berry Bars
by: Tianna

It may take a bit longer, especially if the berries are not frozen, but here's a yummy treat to try sometime:

In a cup, pour some milk and put in a few berries. (if you are allowed to, you may also blend it before putting it in the cup, but that is just optional).

Put a popsicle stick in (if it will stay, sometimes they don't, either way it's fine) and stick it into the freezer for a couple hours(around 2-4 hours normally).

Then take it out once it seems frozen enough to satisfy, and eat away! Great as a hot summer day cool-down treat.
