POL ROTI (Coconut Flat Bread)

Serve this flat bread with butter and jam. Delicious Sri Lankan recipe.


You will need:

3 cups flour
1 cup grated coconut
salt to taste

How to make:

1. Mix all the ingredients together adding little by little cold water until the mixture gets to a dough (dough shouldn't be wet).

2. Break the dough into small balls.

3. Flatten on a floured plate using your palms.

4. Cook on a heated heavy bottom pan till golden brown on both sides under medium heat.

5. Serve with butter and jam.
