Orange Teriyaki Chicken

Who would guess that the secret ingredient is orange marmalade?

1-1/2 c. chicken broth
1-1/2 c. teriyaki sauce
1-1/2 c. green onion , sliced and divided
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 /4 c. orange marmalade
2 T. cornstarch
8 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
cooked rice
1/2 c. walnuts, coarsely chopped (optional)

Mix broth, sauce, 1.4 cup onion, garlic, marmalade and cornstarch in a slow cooker. Add chicken; turn to coat. Cover and cook on low setting for 8 to 9hours. Serve over rice, garnished with walnuts and remaining onion.

4 to 6 servings.
