Here you'll find ground beef recipes that are simple and fast.


Beef-a-roni

1 pound ground meat
1 can sloppy joe sauce
3/4 cup elbow macaroni

Cook macaroni according to package directions to al dente. Brown ground meat and add sloppy joe sauce. Add cooked macaroni and simmer until heated through and macaroni is coated. Optional: top with cheese.

Inside/Out Cheeseburger and Fries

1 pound frozen french fries (or one small bag)
1 pound hamburger meat (ground beef)
1 can Manwich
cheddar cheese, shredded

Bake fries in oven per directions on bag. Brown your hamburger meat in skillet, drain grease. When fries are cooked put into a 9 x 9" casserole dish (or bigger depending on amount of fries). Spoon the browned hamburger meat on top of fries. Add Manwich (acts as your ketchup) to desired amount on top. Add cheese as the final topping.

Bake in oven at 350F degrees for 30 minutes or until piping hot and ready to eat.

Kerry's Casserole Special

1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup frozen peas
1/2 cup frozen corn
1 can cream of potato soup
1 can cream of onion soup
Frozen tater tots
Grated cheese

Brown ground beef in pan and drain. In a 9 X 13 casserole dish mix browned beef, peas, corn, cans of soup and a handful of cheese. Top with a layer of tater tots and bake at 350F degrees until tots begin to brown. Then add a layer of cheese and cook until bubbly.

Mom's Picnic Casserole

1 clove garlic
1 medium onion
1 bell pepper
1 pound ground beef
1 8 ounce can tomato sauce
1 can tomato soup
1 medium can corn
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon chili powder
salt and pepper to taste
1 small jar pimento cheese
1/2 package egg noodles

Saute garlic, onions and bell pepper. Brown ground beef and drain Add everything together except pimento cheese and noodles and simmer for 10 minutes When done simmering add pimento cheese and cooked noodles.

Bake covered in casserole dish at 325F degrees for 1 hour.

Munchy Meat Loaf

1 pound ground beef
1 slice of bread
1 egg
2 tablespoons milk
1/2 small onion, finely chopped
2 large carrots, shredded
1/4 teaspoon basil
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
ketchup or barbecue sauce

Put the ground beef in a large mixing bowl. Soak the piece of bread in some warm water, then squeeze the water out with clean hands. Break up the bread and add it to the bowl. Add all the other ingredients except the ketchup. Mix it all up. Put it in a loaf pan patting it down. Bake for 35 minutes in a 350F degree (175C degree) oven. Then take out the meat loaf and cover the top with ketchup or barbecue sauce. Bake for another 10 to 15 minutes.

Serve it up with mashed potatoes and enjoy.

Sloppy Joe

1 pound ground beef
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 medium onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
1 8-ounce can chopped tomatoes
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 tablespoon flour
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce (Tabasco)
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/4 cup water
6 buns

Heat a large skillet and add oil. Stir fry onions, garlic, and bell pepper. Add ground beef and cook until meat is brown. Drain the liquid. Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, flour, Worcestershire sauce, hot pepper sauce (optional), and sugar. Add water and bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat. Simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring regularly. Serve on buns.


Fiesta Mexican Salad

1 pound ground beef
1 clove garlic, minced
1 packet taco seasoning
1 can red kidney beans
1/4 purple onion, diced
1/4 cup Monterrey Jack cheese, shredded
Romaine lettuce, torn
Russian dressing
salt and pepper to taste
nacho corn chips, crushed

Pour 1 tablespoon olive oil in a skillet, add garlic and ground beef. Cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain juices. Add taco seasoning and stir well. Drain kidney beans and rinse. Add beans to skillet and stir.

Rinse and drain lettuce. Tear into small pieces and place in a large salad bowl. Toss in beef mixture and add cheese and onion. Add salt and pepper to taste. Pour Russian dressing over salad and toss well. Last add crushed corn chips.


This recipe makes a hearty stew that will satisfy the hungriest cowboy.

Cowboy Stew

1 onion, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 pound ground beef
6 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3 cups beef broth or water

In a large skillet, saute onion and garlic in oil. Add ground beef and cook until beef is browned. Drain liquid then add potatoes, spices, and beef broth. Bring to a boil, then turn to low heat and simmer for about 20 minutes until potatoes are soft. Serve while hot. You can sprinkle fresh cilantro on top and serve with corn chips.

Gook

1 pound ground beef
1 teaspoon garlic
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon thyme
salt and pepper
3 cups mashed potatoes
1/2 jar mild salsa
1 bag frozen corn

In a skillet, brown the ground beef and season with salt and pepper, garlic, basil, and thyme.

Let the beef simmer and prepare the mashed potatoes and corn according to directions.

Once the potatoes and corn are cooked, add the corn to the pot of mashed potatoes. Drain the beef and add that in as well. Then, mix in the salsa and stir it all up!
