How to make homemade icing
by: Clarissa the mom chef

Hi Ronni,

Making homemade icing is easy. My kids love to make powdered sugar icing because it's sweet and delicious and easy to make. You can use milk or juice such as orange or lemon juice. You can also add a little cocoa to make chocolate icing. This icing is not a thick icing but it's great to drizzle over cookies or a cake.

Easy Powdered Sugar Icing Recipe

Ingredients:

2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons milk or juice

How to make the icing:

Sift powdered sugar. Mix the powdered sugar with the vanilla and milk or juice. Then add more milk or juice a bit at a time until it's the right consistency.
