The Simpler Omelet

by Victoria
(ACT, Australia)

If you love omelets, here is a simple recipe.

You will need:

2 eggs
1 chopped slice of bacon
1/2 a chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon thin soy sauce
1 teaspoon water
Butter
Lots of cheese

STEP 1.
Beat up the eggs with a fork and add soy sauce.

STEP 2.
Add a whole teaspoon of water to the eggs. Again, beat the eggs.

STEP 3.
Get a teaspoon of butter and put on the fry pan. Let the butter melt on the stove.

STEP 4.
Once the butter has melted, put in the bacon and onion.

STEP 5.
Wait for the ingredients to let out a nice, just right sort of smell. Then, you put the ingredients on a plate to cool.

STEP 6.
Put the eggs into the pan. spread the egg all around the pan so that it's very thin.

STEP 7.
Wait for the eggs to cook and pour in all the ingredients. Be sure to spread them out evenly in the middle.

STEP 8.
CAREFULLY, with a spatula, lift a little bit of the egg up and fold. Repeat until an omelet is formed. It's OK if it has a hole in it.

STEP 9.
Tip the omelet onto a plate and enjoy :)
