Spaghetti Pie

This is a favorite with kids - it especially impresses their friends! Spaghetti pie is a meal worth remembering, especially if they helped make the "spaghetti crust", and they love to cut it into wedges and eat it like pie. Inviting and scrumptious!

6 ounces spaghetti, cooked al dente
2 tablespoons butter
1.2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
2 eggs, well beaten
1 cup ricotta cheese
6 frozen meatballs, Italian flavor, thawed
2 cups favorite pasta sauce
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Preheat oven to 350F (180C) degrees.

Stir butter and Parmesan cheese into hot cooked spaghetti.

Place into a 10 inch glass pie plate, patting along bottom and sides to form "pie crust". Drop ricotta by spoonfuls over the spaghetti crust. Layer sauce and meatballs over ricotta.

Bake uncovered for 20 minutes. Add shredded mozzarella cheese to top and return to oven for 5 minutes, or until cheese melts.

Don't forget the eggs
by: Anonymous

When I make this, i put eggs in the crust so I'm guessing that's where the eggs in the ingredients list go.
