Noodles by the Sea

This recipe is easy to make, quick, and really quite good. Developed it when I needed something fast with the ingredients at hand.

Needed:

2 packs Ramen noodles, any type
1 tin smoked oysters
1 can sardines in tomato sauce
2 cloves garlic, finely diced
1 tablespoon butter (olive oil may be substituted)
Juice one lime
1 teaspoon curry powder (Cajun spice works well too)
1/2 small onion, diced

Directions:

Open Ramen noodles. Discard flavor packs. Boil noodles till soft. Drain off water and set aside.

In skillet, place butter/oil, garlic, and onion. Brown until soft but do not burn! Reduce heat, mix in curry powder and lime juice. Stir to mix well. Add oysters and sardines. Stir until mix is good and hot.

Place noodles in serving dish and top with mixture. (For adults only, this goes well with a nice white wine.) Enjoy!
