This is a delicious chutney made from cranberries. It is easy to make and it goes well as a dip or with turkey for Thanksgiving.


Prep Time: 5 Minutes
Cook Time: 15 Minutes
Ready In: 20 Minutes
Make 1-3 days before use

Ingredients:

4-1/4 (12 ounce) bags fresh or frozen cranberries
5-1/4 cups sugar
3 cups and 2 tablespoons water
4-1/4 large cooking apple, chopped
2 tablespoons and 2-1/4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon and 1-1/4 teaspoons ground ginger
1 teaspoon ground cloves

Directions:

1. In a saucepan, combine all ingredients; bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat; simmer for 15-20 minutes or until apple is tender and mixture thickens. Cool completely.

2. Store in the refrigerator. Serve over cream cheese with crackers or as a condiment with pork, ham or chicken and especially TURKEY!
