Chocolate Puffs

by Matthew
(Alburtis, PA, USA)

Puff pastry filled with chocolate for an easy dessert.

1 sheet puff pastry
6 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
confectioner's sugar
flour (used for rolling out pastry)

Allow pastry sheet to warm to room temperature.
Using flour so it doesn't stick to board, roll sheet to 12 X 15" rectangle. Using pastry cutter (or a glass), cut 12 circles in pastry sheet.

Place 1 ounce chocolate chips on 6 circles. Wet outside of circle with water. Cover each circle with remaining 6 circles. Using tines of a fork, press circles together forming a pocket.

Bake at 350F (180C) degrees for 15-20 minutes, until browned. Dust with confectioner's sugar.
