2. Quick and Easy Candy Cane Cake Recipe

Bake a chocolate cake and frost with this easy peppermint frosting:

4 cups powdered sugar, sifted
2 teaspoons peppermint extract
3 to 4 tablespoons milk

Beat shortenting and extract for 1 minute with a mixer on medium speed. Add 2 cups powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons milk and beat well. Then add the rest of the ingredients until you get the right consistency of frosting. Frost your cake and cover with crushed peppermint candy canes.
