Veggy Dog Biscuits

by Olivia, age 12

A lot of dog treat recipes are really complicated and involve raw meat etc., but this is an easy one that my two dogs go crazy for.

• 1 cup of wheat flour
• margarine
• ½ cup of grated cheese
• 1 garlic clove
• ½ cup of veg (tinned or fresh)
• milk

Mix the margarine with the cheese and wheat flour. After this, stir in the clove of garlic, after crushing it, followed by the veg and a few drops of milk.

I've only made this once, so you'll need to experiment a bit with the amounts etc. This recipe was meant to be cut into biscuit shapes before cooking, but i lost the bone shaped cutter, and i thought that little people wouldn't look great, so i put it in the oven in a baking tray, and cut it into squares at the end.

Again, i'm sorry, but i'm not sure what temperature it should be baked at, but about 30 minutes at 200F degrees or until slightly brown should do it.
