Stick-o-Seeds

by Alex

Here's an easy treat to make for your pet hamster.

You will need:

5-10 inch stick (depending on size of cage)
peanut butter or honey
bird seeds

First get a stick (from your backyard maybe) and clean it and scrape off some of the bark until it it is clean.

Then, take a butter knife and dip it in the bottle of peanut butter or honey (I prefer peanut butter).

Next rub the peanut butter or honey on the stick until it's smooth and glossy.

Lastly, sprinkle bird seeds on the stick until it is mostly covered.

Finally, give your hamster his new treat.

I thought this recipe would simple and easy and it is! That is a gold star. Next, my hammy, Nibble, LOVED it! 2 gold stars. But what ruined this recipe was that my hamster stuffed it into it's mouth and nearly choked! ): (. Nibble got her fur all dirty from the bedding covered " choker". I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings, but I'm telling the truth. Thanks anyway.
