Valentine's Day

Santa's Face

by Sara
(Rochester, NY, USA)

Great snack! Makes two Santas, half of bagel for one and the other half of bagel for the second one.

Utensils:

paper towels
butter knife
small sharp knife

Ingredients:

shredded cheese (white or yellow)
large bagel (already sliced or ask adult to help)
2 cherry tomatoes
fresh red bell pepper
4 cucumber slices
butter or margarine

Directions:

Slice bagel in half. Spread with butter. Put on paper towel. Sprinkle cheese on bottom half of each bagel (for Santa's beard) and microwave for 20 seconds on high until cheese is soft but not melted.

Place tomatoes in hole of each bagel. Use cucumber slices for eyes and place two on top half of each bagel.

Cut a triangle shape for Santa's hat from the bell pepper and add to top of bagel.
