Pixies Chocolate Cookies

You'll love these chocolate cookies - so easy to make!

Ingredients:

1/2 cup shortening (Crisco)
1 2/3 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
6 Tablespoons cocoa
2 Tablespoons shortening, melted
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup milk
powdered sugar

Recipe Instructions:

Mix cocoa with 2 Tablespoons melted shortening to make chocolate mixture. Cream shortening, sugar and eggs well. Add vanilla & chocolate mixture.

Sift dry ingredients and add to the dough alternately with milk. Chill dough well.

Form into 1 inch balls and roll in sifted powdered sugar. Place on lightly greased baking sheet. Bake in preheated 350F (180C) degree oven for 10 – 13 minutes.
