Open Face Gooey’n Easy Indoor S'mores

by Ray Uyeda, Age 14
(Mtn. View, CA, USA)

My family loves S'mores. The tough thing is, they are not always the most convenient thing to make. One night we got out all of our favorite flavors and put them together. What better way to finish the combination off than to add some marshmallow fluff on top as well? This is how my I came up with this recipe.

4 Graham crackers, broken in half
4 ounces semi-sweet chocolate
½ heavy cream
¾ cup strawberry or raspberry jam
1 cup marshmallow fluff
cocoa powder, for dusting

Melt the heavy cream with the chocolate over in a glass bowl set over 1 to 2 inches of simmering water. Take off the heat once completely melted and set aside.

Spread a portion of the chocolate on one side of each of the Graham crackers, then dollop a portion of the jam.

Finally, spoon some of the marshmallow fluff over and arrange all of the Graham crackers on a cookie sheet lined with tin foil. Place under a broiler set to high and cook until bubbly and brown on top. Enjoy!
