No-Fuss Peanut Butter Cookies

No-fuss PB cookies: how they look just pressed

No-fuss PB cookies: how they look just pressed

These cookies really are "no-fuss". Add nuts, candies, or jelly on top - or just eat them as they are.

Ingredients:

1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup smooth peanut butter
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 whole large egg

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl making sure they are well blended. (Don't worry it doesn't take flour.) Roll into balls about 1 inch across and press down lightly on a cookie sheet.

Now comes the fun! You can top them with a candy kiss, a couple of peanuts, a dab of jelly or leave them plain (to frost after or eat plain as they are delicious just as they are).

Bake in a 350F degree (180C) oven for 8-10 minutes until they just start to brown around the edges. Let cool and they will get nice and chewy.
