No Cook Recipes
by: Clarissa the mom chef

"No cook" cooking is a great way for young kids to get started cooking. It's safe and you can be very creative.

Here are a few ideas:

Shape Sandwiches

bread
mayonnaise
lunch meat
American cheese slices

Heart Shape: Spread mayonnaise on one piece of bread. Place lunch meat on top. Take cheese and cut out heart shape. Place cheese on top of meat.

Funny Face: Spread mayonnaise on one piece of bread. Place lunch meat on top. Take cheese and cut out circle shape. Cut stuffed olive in half. Place for eyes. Cut a piece of red bell pepper and place for mouth. Place a baby carrot
for nose.

Celery Race Cars

peanut butter/Cheese Whiz
celery sticks
2 large round crackers
2 small round crackers
4 toothpicks

Spread peanut butter and/or Cheese Whiz in the groove of the piece of celery.Stick the 4 toothpicks through (2 in front and 2 in back) 2 on each side. Put the 2large round crackers on the the back toothpicks and the 2 small round ones on the front.

Now your race car is ready to roll into action! Note: please supervise young children with toothpicks.
