Warm and Yummy Milk Tea

2 cups of milk
1 teabag of chamomile herbal tea
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/2 tespoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon of honey
drop of vanilla

Simmer on low heat until warm. This is a good drink before bedtime since chamomile is a relaxing drink.

Hot Chocolate is the #1 favorite kid drink of all the hot drink recipes--
sure to warm you in winter!

Hot Chocolate

2 cups milk (or try 2% milk)
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons cocoa powder

Combine 1 cup milk, honey, and cocoa powder in a saucepan and heat on stove on low/medium heat until honey and cocoa dissolve. Add the other cup of milk. Heat until you get the temperature just the way you like it. Whatever you do, don't boil. Top with whipped cream or marshmallows.

Serves 2.

Healthy Hot Carob Drink

2 cups soy milk
2 tablespoons carob powder
1 tablespoon honey

Add 1 cup soy milk, carob powder, and honey to a saucepan. Heat over stove low/medium heat until honey and carob dissolve. Add the other cup of soy milk. Heat slowly and don't boil.

Serves 2.

Hot Apple Cider

8 cups apple cider
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 cinnamon sticks
1 teaspoon whole cloves
some orange rind (orange peeling)

Mix apple cider and brown sugar together in a pot. Stir until sugar dissolves. Put cinnamon sticks, cloves, and orange rind in a spice bag (or wrap in cheese cloth and tie with string). Put the bag in the pot. Simmer on low heat for 15 minutes.

Serves 6.



Warm Spiced Milk

2 cups milk
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Stir over stove on low heat until nice and warm.

Serves 2.
