Fudge Balls

by Janice

This no-cook recipe is fun for children to make and encourages creativity. These hand-made fudge balls are easy to make and can be coated with a variety of your favorite toppings.

INGREDIENTS:

3 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon vanilla

SUGGESTED TOPPINGS & FILLINGS:

finely chopped nuts
shredded coconut
assorted candy sprinkles
dried fruit

INSTRUCTIONS:

Place softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla in a large bowl and mix well.

On separate plates set out a small amount of your favorite toppings such as finely chopped nuts, coconut and sprinkles to roll the fudge balls in. You can also include dried fruit such as cranberries, cherries, or whole nuts.

Take a spoonful of the cream cheese fudge mixture and roll it into a ball about 1 inch in diameter. Roll each fudge ball in one or more of the toppings. The balls can also be rolled with a piece of dried fruit or a nut inside.

Place fudge balls in the refrigerator and chill to firm.

Enjoy!
