Easy Biscuits

Make these healthy whole wheat biscuits and watch them get gobbled up fast!

You will need:

3 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup powdered milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon sugar
1 egg
3/4 cup hot water
1/3 cup margarine

large bowl
cookie cutters
greased baking sheet

Pour hot water over the margarine. Add the powdered milk, salt, sugar. Beat the egg and add it to the mixture.

Add flour 1/2 cup at a time. Knead dough for 5 minutes. Roll the dough to about 1/2 inch thickness. Cut out shapes.

Place on greased baking sheet. Cook for 45 minutes at 350F (180C) degrees. Let cool for about 30 minutes. Store in plastic bag or airtight container.
