Deshandra's Fancy Freezy Freezy

by Deshandra Carter
(North Carolina, USA)

A strawberry smoothie is quite filling. However you can serve it with some cheese, toast or crackers.

1 1/2 glasses of milk
1 tablespoon of strawberry syrup
2-3 teaspoons of sugar
1 tablespoon fresh yogurt
7-8 strawberries
Fresh cream
Mint leaves
Crushed ice
2 cherries

Take a deep container and pour milk in it. Add sugar and strawberry syrup blend them well. You will see it turns a little frothy.

Now add 3-4 strawberries in and the yogurt. Blend lightly. Let the strawberries get minced but not absolutely crushed. Keep pieces that are visible. Add crushed ice and blend again.

Pour this mix in the two tall glasses.

Now add the fresh cream on top. If you do not like fresh cream topping, blend it in the mix. You can even avoid fresh cream if you want to go light on the calories.

Add the remaining strawberries that you will be able to enjoy with a spoon.

Once you top it with fresh cream, top it with a cherry and mint leaves.

Dip a straw in both and serve chilled.
