Valentine's Day

Decorative French Toast

by Denise Young
(Memphis, Tennessee, USA)

An easy, quick Christmas breakfast - kids can share in the fun.

You Will Need:

2 eggs beaten
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
4 slices of bread, your choice
Christmas cookie cutters (stars, bells, Christmas trees, etc.)

Beat eggs, add vanilla and cinnamon.

Cut out bread with cookie cutters. Dip bread in egg mixture. Fry French toast slices in medium hot pan.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar, red and green sprinkles, or any other decorative Christmas toppings.

Add syrup of your choice and enjoy.

Note from Mom Chef, Clarissa: You could also put food coloring in the egg mixture and make green Christmas trees with powdered sugar for the snow with red hots or red M&M's.
