Baby Hamster Weaning Food

This is a tasty treat for all baby hamsters being introduced to weaning to enjoy. This recipe is a supplementary feed for a litter of 6 little hamsters, but you can customize the amounts if you want.

Ingredients:

1/4 slice of Bread
warm kitten milk (If you don't have this, warm water is fine!)
tiniest drizzle of honey
slice of mashed banana
a pinch of sesame or poppy seeds (or both!)

Method:

Put 1/4 of a slice of bread into a small hamster feeding dish, then pour in a teaspoon of kitten milk/water, keep on doing this until it is firm but a bit sloppy. Then add a tiny drizzle of honey, a slice of mashed banana, and a pinch of sesame or poppy seeds.

Note: This is NOT their only food, this is a supplement, or a treat - they can't live on this alone, they need their mother's milk, and when she stops feeding them, normal hamster food too!
